Surfing around Agadir

A place to escape the winter blues!

Marocco has enjoyed legandary status for decades, as a place to escape the winter blues and surf the great pointbreaks clustered around Agadir. Any time from autumn to spring should provide the conditions to ride the headland-protected pointbreaks and get some exposed beach/reff action.

Morocco is best surfed in late autum through until march, the rest of the year can be pretty uneventful. When the big swells run down the coast the pointbreaks come alive and our advice is to head to Agadir. Althought there is not any surf in Agadir it is an easy place to get to and has world class waves a short drive north. Anchor Point as a must if you are going to surf Morocco, when it is on it can break up to a kilometre.
