Art Surf Camp Location
This surfcamp is located in Razo Beach, the best Spanish Atlantic Coast beach for surfing, it is just in the North of Portugal. Razo is a very peaceful place where you can surf 365 days a year and it has 5km of beach full of great waves for surfing. It is one of the few beaches to surf in the European Atlantic coast where there are waves on a daily basis with the most frequent sea tides. Moreover, it is not a crowded surfspot so your stay at Art Surf Camp will be most enjoyable.
It is only 30 km from La Coruña Airport and 60 km from Santiago de Compostela Airport, both airports have connecting flights to the major cities in Spain like Madrid or Barcelona and in Europe. You can get to Artsurfcamp on your own or, if you prefer, an Artsurfcamp member can pick you up at the airport. If you arrive by train or bus, Artsurfcamp can pick you up at the bus or train stations in Coruna or Santiago.
It is ideally situated as a base from which to explore The Costa da Morte, on this coast, we find deserted beaches, coves and cliffs. Its capes, such as those of Fisterra, Touriñán and Vilán, jut out into a wild ocean of constantly choppy waters. The area is known world wide as the perfect destination for surfing and other outdoor activities like kitesurfing, SUPing, kayaking, climbing, hiking, mountain biking, country walks and diving.
Art Surf Camp Accommodation
The hotel-hostel has two floors with windows for you to enjoy the spectacular views of the beach and fitted wardrobes where you can store your stuff while you're out surfing. The first floor has shared bedrooms of 4 to 6 people with bunk beds and separate shower and toilet areas. The second floor has shared bedrooms for 4 people with en suite bathrooms.
The hotel-hostel has the license (15-AX-16) for the Autonomous Community of Galicia and it belongs to the International Network of Youth Hostels. The total capacity is for 86 people with a floor space of 2200 square meters.

Our private apartments are the best option for couples who want a bit of private space on their holidays, or for families and groups of friends. Modern, spacious apartments with an amazing garden by the beach. The apartments are very well equipped, with a full kitchen, bathroom and TV.
Art Surf Camp Facilities
Artsurfcamp has a dining room for 100 people with a wonderful view of the sea, terrace right in front of the beach, audiovisual room (we perform complementary lessons such as video correction, wave formation or workshops that will help you improve your knowledge), natural solarium, chill-out area (the perfect place to relax on the hammocks), and pilates and yoga area.
We also have a skate mini ramp, a 3 sided football field and a volleyball court.
Our restaurant-bar, ArtBar. Guests love to sit on the terrace and swap adventure stories from the day. You can relax after a day of surfing or watch the waves before starting from the stunning sun terrace. Enjoying BBQs, live music and night parties in the evenings.
Art Surf Camp Surf School
At the surf school, you will have the best surfing equipment in order to ride the waves in Razo, surfboards, wetsuits, etc. It has a set of showers where you can wash the surfing material and a drying zone where you can put them to dry so that they can then be spotted in perfect condition on your next surfing lesson.
Our surfing lessons and packages are delivered to the highest standard and provide a structured plan that is proven to help you progress and reach your surfing goals. We have an own teaching method which has been developed with over 10 years of experience. With this method, you evolve quickly while learning in a fun and safe way. All our instructors are highly qualified.
