THE SPOT
Have you ever imagined the perfect balance between the excitement of the city and the tranquility and fun of the beach? Yeah, we are that paradise full of priceless experiences, surf, nature walks every single day and so much more. We are located 10 minutes walking from the white-sandy beaches and 15 minutes driving from Europe’s most beautiful city: Lisbon!
There's a long list of interesting places around the surfcamp, we are 15 km away from Lisbon City Center, in the south side of the City, surrounded by a typical Portuguese restaurant, the stunning São João white-sandy Beach (8 min walk), the amazing Miradouro dos Capuchos (10 min by car), the famous Cristo Rei sanctuary(10 min drive), Supermarket (10 min walk), a regular Tennis Court (10 min walk), huge Golf fields in Aroeira (15 min drive) and the beautiful Natural Park of Arrábida (30 min drive).
SURF
The great variety of surf locations is what really matters, several depths, many beach breaks, reef breaks, good wave frequency, and shape are only a few of the features of the Portuguese spots; where we can find a high concentration all along the coastline of the Lisbon area. The courses we provide are intended for both beginners (LEVEL 1) and more experienced surfers (LEVEL 2) starting from a first approach with the surfboard on the sand you will learn how to take-off and catch several types of waves until surfing UNBROKEN GREEN WAVES! The same concept is also applied to kitesurfing courses where an IKO certified instructor would follow you throughout the course with special attention to your training in the safe environment of the Lagoa de Albufeira.
THE CAMP
The house can host up to 20 people, it has comfortable private rooms for couples and spacious dorms for groups of friends. Three bathrooms with showers at your disposal, a big kitchen equipped with stoves, oven, fridge, electric kettle, toaster, etc. Huge living room for proper chill out time after exciting surf sessions, large garden all around the house; perfect for yoga lessons or barbecue and finally a common space for breakfasts and dinners all together with the crew. Free wifi is available in all rooms and throughout the camp.
FOOD
We offer a variegated healthy breakfast with all you need to go through an intense day of surfing, vegetarian options are available! Coffee and tea free in the camp at any time. We also organize amazing dinners with all the guests at our spot or out, either in Lisbon or in Costa da Caparica, good vibes are a matter-of-fact here.
ACTIVITIES
We also provide activities such as yoga, tennis, climbing, kitesurf, hiking, trips to paradise beach and events such as our well-known party on the beach. Let us know what suits you best, book your activity in advance through the chat on our website.
