The Atlantic Lodge in Aljezur is a modern retro decorated feel good lodge and is a perfect place to stay if you are exploring the West Algarve. The Aljezur region knows 300+ sunny days a year. Praia de Amoreira is close by and we have our own surf school on this stunning beach: Surflife Atlantic Riders (since 2001). But also the popular white sand beaches of Arrifana and Monte Clerigo are at a 15-minute drive!
The Atlantic Lodge is an accommodation for all travellers who enjoy luxury at a fair price and want to experience to a full extent what Aljezur and it’s surroundings have to offer. You can stay in 1-, 2- or 4-bed private rooms with private bath or in one of the shared rooms with bunk beds. All rooms have a retro design and have top good quality matrasses, linen and towels. You will love our roof terrace, bar and social chill out areas where you can meet fellow travellers or practice your skills on our Indo Balance Boards. Apart from some lazy hammocks you also find here a selection of games.
We also offer activities such as yoga, mountain biking, tennis, swimming and surf lessons. Free wifi is available in all rooms and throughout the lodge. At the end of the day just pop down on our nice lounge sofas and enjoy the setting sun on our panoramic roof terrace. SURF LESSONS
If you’re looking for a perfect spot to ride your first wave ever or want to improve your board skills, Aljezur will be your place to be for your summer vacation.
All our lessons are taught by our licensee surf instructors who are looking forward to having some fun the water with you.
Whether you are an experienced or novice surfer, we have surfboards for everyone! The packages are available with or without surfing lessons.
At our beach hut, you can rent wetsuits. If you book lessons a wetsuit is even mandatory. There are men and women wetsuits in all sizes.
We have surfboards in all sizes, from short boards (6.7 ft) and mini Malibus (7.6 ft and 8 ft) to longboards (9 ft and 10 ft). Our surfboards are all good brands such as NSP, South Point, BIC, Surftech and Victory. Also, we have a very large number of soft top surfboards that are perfect for surf lessons and novice surfers. At your disposal are also body boards with fins and several skim boards.
FOOD
You can choose from a buffet breakfast and our weekly BBQ. The buffet breakfast is included in your stay! The breakfast is very extensive with bread, cereal, breakfast drinks, fresh juices, eggs, spreads etc.
ACTIVITIES
During the week various activities are organized for which you can register on site. Our yoga instructor will give yoga lessons a few times a week. There are often guitarists who play and occasionally give a guitar clinic.
