Surf Camp
The new and beautifully built Pure Surf Camp Morocco lies directly on the enchanted coastline near Taghazout and has completely exceeded our quality standards! All rooms have been freshly renovated and an extra floor has been added just for you. With 180° ocean view, a spacious roof top terrace and world class surf spots right in our front yard along with the stylish Moroccan flair and culture makes this camp a perfect destination for an unforgettable surf vacation.
When you glance out of your window or from the roof top terrace and look out to the ocean you see a perfectly peeling left hander - your home spot. The next point break is only 5 minutes away. Besides the surf, the 330 days of sunshine make for a perfect travel destination exploring the landscapes and culture that Morocco has to offer. After a long day of surf or exploring the surrounding villages the roof top terrace and chill out areas offer the perfect spot to relax and enjoy the sunset with newly made friends.
Right on the beach is a newly built Beach Club, which offers the perfect spot to relax in between surf lessons or to regenerate with some food or a cold drink. Surfboards and wetsuits can be borrowed directly at the Beach Club so you don't have to bother carrying extra gear back to camp or to the beach. Showers, washrooms as well as the lounge area are an exclusive part of your experience here at Pure Surf Camp Morocco.
Just 20 meters away from Pure Surf Camp Morocco is our neighboring house with a brand new infinity pool with a picturesque view of the ocean. All amenities such as the pool, terrace and yoga room are all accessible to our guests.
The Towns Tamraght and Taghazout
The surf camp is in a town called Aourir, which together with the neighboring town of Tamraght combines to make what is known as Banana Village. Taghazout is less than 5 minutes away and is a little bigger and is crowned the center of surf culture in Morocco.
In the lively and authentic Banana Village you can find tea bars, shops, restaurants and a weekly traditional Moroccan market, which is only a 10 minute walk from camp. Due to the location of Banana Village you frequent less tourists and get a real experience of an untouched Moroccan culture, which is harder to find in the larger cities and hot spots. For small day trips we recommend taking a look at Paradise Valley, an Oasis in the Atlas Mountain range. In camp we offer beer and wine but local shops do not sell alcohol.
