Mangawhai Heads

Mangawhai Heads is a prime surf spot if the east coast of the North Island is on. Everybody knows it and it can get crowded. The spot consists of a harbour entrance and a beach. The harbour got a bar that produces super fast, angry rights with often strong currents. Only recommended for experienced and fit guys. At the beach on the other hand life is usually more easy and waves are forgiving. The further north you go the more quite it gets. The beach got multiple bars usually with plenty of lefts and rights.Good for beginners too.
