Praia Amado

Praia Amado is situated just south of the small town of Carrapateira. The Beach offers multiple banks and works in a lot of conditions. High tide usually offers the best conditions especially when there's some decent swell. Furthermore the beach is quite unaffected by winds and works with northwesterlies which prevail in summer. The beach is a little more sheltered, so if it's tiny you might need to explore but there are more exposed spots in the area. In summer it can get quite crowded here but the vibe in the water and on land is rather peaceful.
