Punakaiki
Punakaiki is a reknown for its Pancake rocks. Tourist travelling along the rough coast of new zealands south island gather here to stroll around the rock formation. But on either side of the rocks there are good possibilities for surfing. However this coast is dangerous, most of the time it's too large to be surfed and if in doubt be aware of strong rips and currents!
When it's small and the banks are good you can get good quality waves here. On the left hand side (picture) good right handers were forming off the rocks...
