SUMMERSURF in Carcans-Plage

Location: Carcans-Plage is a nice little place at the atlantic ocean in france, where surfers come together to practice their sport on uncroweded beaches. Directly behind the dunes you find the SUMMERSURF CAMP on the Camping Municipal. There you find everything you need for a perfect camping and surf holiday. If you like to go out you find nice bars, dicos and restaurants in Carcans-Plage and Lacanau Océan, the next village in the south, where every year differnt surf contests take place.

Accomodation: Our tents are very spacious. Two of you will sleep there together on comfortable airbeds, so you can dream of your own perfect wave!

Surf course: In Carcans-Plage we have perfect conditions to learn surfing. All our Surf Instructors are certified by the DWV (Deutscher Wellenreitverband) which is excepted by the ISA. You will get lessons in theory and practice, also with videocoaching and videofeedback. We do have all kinds of surfboards, from shortboard to longboard. And of course Softboards for beginners.

Fullboard (optional): On our breakfast buffet you find French baguette and cheese, assorted cold meat, muesli, cornflakes, jam, chocolate creme, juices, tee and coffee. You can make yourself a lunch baguette for the day at the beach. You also get a piece of fruit, a sweet snack and a bottle of water. In the evenings, we serve a warm dinner with salad, a dessert and a drink.

How to get there: You can travel by railway or plane to Bordeaux or go by bus or your own car from Germany, Switzerland & Austria. Ask for help if you need!
